So first, Hozier came out with “Take Me To Church.” And then Kiesza covered it. And now we’ve got Shaun Frank remixing Kiesza’s cover. Needless to say, with so many great musical minds all putting their efforts into a single track (though on different paths), the end result comes out sounding really, really good.
The grooving deep house presents a deep booming bassline with Kiesza’s signature vocals taking center stage. The break elements throughout the track keep you interested all the way to the end, and the track as a whole does great at taking all the relevant pieces of the original and accentuating them.
