Illenium might be one of my most-written-about producers for Your EDM. I have to wonder, at this point, whether I’m writing about his tracks because I have become attached, or if it’s truly based on the merit of his work. However, that moment of hesitation lasts only for a moment as I realize that it is indeed the skill and talent confided in his music that speak to me so deeply.
This track is damn near perfect – the bass is uncompromising, the vocal samples are expertly arranged, the lead synths are melodic and uplifting, the drums are punchy and sharp. If I could find any fault at all in this amazing remix, it’s that I can’t stand listening to it only once. Wonder Wonder specifically sought out Illenium for this official remix, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that they made an excellent choice.
