For hitting 100,00 facebook likes Joel Fletcher is giving away his much awaited “Latch” by Disclosure remix. I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable about Melbourne bounce and with that in mind I can safely say this is my favorite bounce song, second to only “Queef” by Joel and Deorro. A lot of remixes and bootlegs of popular songs usually only have a sixteen bar breakdown, so it was refreshing to hear how Joel had longer builds that better showcased the original while building the energy for the drops. In the breakdowns there is very little bass in any form and I actually checked my speakers while the song was playing to make sure nothing was wrong, while I was doing this the song dropped and so did I. Simply put, this is how you do a remix properly.
