Cosmic Groove, while also being the name of Kaptain‘s new EP, is the best two words I could think to describe this project, really. Fans of future, glitch, funk and any other groovy music, as well as people looking for something different and ambitious, need not look further. There is something really honest about this EP and the tracks on it; each song fits in well with the others and nothing feels forced. A good amount of variety is available too, from the ambient prelude to the deep mix of “Cosmic Groove,” so if one song doesn’t do it for you, it’s worth giving each of the tracks off the EP a fair listen. The fact that Cosmic Groove is free, and costs you nothing but a bit of your time, makes its something you don’t really have a reason to not check out. So have a listen, download and share.
