Twitter Goes Audio With Soundcloud & More

Twitter-SoundCloud-deal

Twitter announced today a cool new service that will allow people to post audio within tweets that will play music or messages with a single click.

As of now the only companies participating in this new feature are Soundcloud and iTunes, but Twitter users will have access to the whole Soundcloud and iTunes library of music and audio so users are hardly limited.

This presents an amazing new way for producers to get their music to fans, and is a social media manager’s dream when it comes to marketing campaigns.

Expect sites like Beaport and Spotify to jump on this train soon, but for now we’ll just have to endure Apple and Soundcloud’s reign.
