Dropping a new track every two weeks for free, Mad Decent‘s brainchild has developed to change the face of label in a multitude of ways and after several years of success, the Mad Decent team is back again with their brand new series, What Is A Jeffree?. Aligned with the now fundamental ethos of Jeffree’s, What Is A Jeffree?, features a crop of artists who are spearheading new genres. For the next two weeks, stay locked on Mad Decent‘s soundcloud because the label will be premiering a new tune everyday; leading up to a free download of the full compilation on October 30th. 
Kicking the series off yesterday with the release of the eerie, trap banger, “Bailar” by Tomsize & 8Er$, the series is back at it today with a fresh new joint from none other than Ape Drums. Intertwining a dancehall riddim and the vocals of Gappy Ranks with a stark modern feel, “Overload” is in perfect form for the Houston producer. Known from bolstering classic riddim with elements from all genres, it seems only right that the dancehall revivalist secure a firm position amongst the industry’s finest and most experimental producers to date.
