Halloween has now become one of the pinnacle weekends to party. Whether it’s at a house party, bar, or show, people are out, dressed up, and having fun in whatever way possible. We here at YourEDM decided to help you guys out by making your choice of how to celebrate this Halloween a little bit easier with a roundup of this year’s events!

-Hard Day of the Dead -> Pomona, CA (November 1st-2nd)

California is never one to disappoint with events and with DOTD being 1 of 3 Cali parties on the list to choose from, it may make things a bit more difficult. With a massive two day lineup, this is not something to miss out on and you’ll just have to take my word for it. But hey, sometimes that may not be good enough so I’ll give you a taste of some of the acts you’d get to enjoy. Night one is giving you the likes of Pretty Lights, Knife Party, Diplo, Gesaffelstien, Odesza, and if that doesn’t sweeten the deal, there will be a special B2B set with Eric Prydz and Deadmau5. Remember, that’s only night one… night brings you Calvin Harris, Zedd, Bassnectar, Tchami, Borgore, and the list goes on.

Don’t miss out, you Cali folks. Day of the Dead is a Halloween event for the books.

-Freaky Deaky -> Chicago, IL (October 31st – November 1st)

With Dada Life breaking the world record for world’s largest pillow fight last year, React Presents knew they had to bring some top notch action to this year’s Freaky Deaky. With night one including acts like Kennedy Jones, G-Easy, and Flux Pavilion headlining, you will sure be in for a treat. But if you’re more into tricks, then don’t worry ’cause night two holds Pegboard Nerds, Tchami, Kill The Noise, and Nervo. Chicago friends, be sure to check out one if not both nights at the Aragon Ballroom. You won’t regret it.

And for you Detroit friends out there, React Presents is also holding a Freaky Deaky event on the 25th with Manic Focus, Paper Diamond, and Big Gigantic rounding out the night!

Plus, keep your eye out, we may have just teamed up with React once again to bring you an awesome little giveaway.

-Escape: All Hallows Eve -> San Bernardino, CA (October 31st – November 1st)

Southern California is just getting spoiled this Halloween, first with DOTD and now Escape right down the street. It doesn’t make for an easy decision, that’s for sure. But if you’ve been to any Insomniac event, you know that you’re in for something fantastic, especially with people like 12th Planet, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, Datsik, Adventure Club, and Armin Van Buuren set to grace the stages.

-LightMare-> Las Vegas (October 31st-November 1st)

While you just know Vegas is going to have a whole slew of events Halloween weekend, one in particular that you should check out is Lightmare at none other than Light night club at Mandalay Bay. For two nights of fun you’ll get to enjoy Nicky Romero and Krewella throw down in sin city along with a $10,000 costume contest each night. If that doesn’t make you want to go, then I don’t know what will.

Night Two

-Pier of Fear-> New York City, NY (October 31st- November 1st)
We didn’t forget about you east coasters, and just like Vegas we knew NYC is going to be packed with stuff happening. But if there is one thing in particular you should be checking out, it’s Pier of Fear. With two nights of music from Adventure Club, Borgeous, Nicky Romero and Dirty South, you’ll be sure to have a good time. Especially since you’ll be getting the chance to hear Adventure Club’s new single “Fade” featuring Zak Waters. So for all you die-hard AC fans, you know you’ll want to check this out.

Night Two

-Something Wicked -> Houston, TX (October 25th – 26th)

Don’t worry, dear friends in the south, Something Wicked is there to fill your Halloween needs this year. While this event may not be on Halloween weekend itself, it won’t fall short to deliver something great. With Bassnectar, Kaskade, Dillon Franics, and Martin Garrix to round out the headliners, it’ll be sure to bring the fun just like any other Halloween event could.

-Get Freaky -> Salt Lake City, Utah (October 31st – November 1st)

You probably wouldn’t think of Utah as the place to party, but if that’s the case, then you haven’t heard of V2 Presents. After the past few years, these guys have been stepping up the game when it comes to events and this Halloween they will surely deliver. This year, gracing the stage we’ve got Steve Aoki, Krafty Kuts, Krewella, Gareth Emery, Zomboy, and more! So make your way out to this gem of a city and enjoy yourself.

-Freak Night -> Seattle, WA (October 31st – November 1st)

With yet another west coast event (you guys get it too good) we have Seattle’s very own Freak Night dawning the very classic circus theme, which can send shivers down anyone’s spine. But don’t get to scared, you’ve got a lot of talent coming your way with this stacked lineup consisting of Kaskade and Tiesto headlining both nights, and with Alesso, Carl Cox, Dillon Franics, DVBBS, Grizmatik, and so many more making up the rest.

– BOO! Halloween Massive -> Brooklyn, NY (October 31st)

After looking into some of Insomniac’s other events going on Halloween weekend, we knew we had too include BOO! So if Pier of Fear isn’t quite your cup of tea, then maybe getting the chance to see Knife Party, DJ Snake, Tommy Trash, Tchami, and a few others all under the same roof just might be.

-Insomniac Halloween -> Richmond, CA (October 31st)

Rounding out this top 10 of sorts, we have yet another Insomniac event. Skrillex is headlining and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs are just one of the supporting acts, so you Northern Californians will have the makings of a great Halloween weekend without the hassle of driving south for the other events on this list!

So if this little roundup of some of our favorite Halloween events this year didn’t help make up your mind… well then, I have no idea what will! But whatever you guys choose to do this year, just be sure to stay safe and have an amazing time.
