When you hear the name Lookas, the first thing that comes to mind is grimey, wonky trap beats. This time around, the Miami producer is proving he won’t be so easily labelled with a beautiful remix of Seven Lions and Myon & Shane 54’s “Strangers” featuring Tove Lo.
“Strangers” is melodic trap on a monumental scale. The track feels like a hybrid, akin to ‘heaven trap’ a la Slander. It’s an entirely different experience from the original but brings all the feelings, and pieces of Seven Lions‘ influence bleeds through in its heaviest parts.
