ZHU has been a mysterious figure for months now and with every passing appearance or single we only get a tiny glimpse of the man behind the moniker. Even at this week’s debut performance at the Listen Out festival in Sydney, Australia, the set up was with his decks (with his logo in LEDs) behind a cinema screen, so that you could only barely make out his silhouette.
However, local Los Angeles team HARD Events has begun teasing a new artist on their lineup. As you can see from the picture above, the white paint brush strokes, in those exact spots, are eerily similar to ZHU’s own logo. At this point, we’re thinking, “Stop teasing us, we know who it is.” Of course, we can’t know for sure until the official announcement is made.
