Prince Made a Twerk Tune and It’s Not At All Bad

prince-art-official-age-main

The sexually ambiguous pop icon known as Prince, who is likely responsible for many of your conceptions, recently put out a single from his upcoming solo album Art Official Age. “FUNKNROLL” is Prince’s take on the twerk craze and it lays down a funky style that only Prince can pull off. Many of the younger readers will know Prince as that cross dressing synth pop cheese ball but the reality is, Prince had a huge effect on dance music and particularly in an electronic sense back in the 80s.

This man was a huge inspiration to many of the older DJs and producers out there so expect to see some crazy re-twerks of this tune in the coming months. The Art Official Age LP will be released at the end of September.
