Perhaps one of the best aspects of Porter Robinson’s Worlds album is the potential for remixes that it holds. Big Sandz heard “Fellow Feeling” and did just that, molding it into an outstanding, vibrant dubstep track. The song is completely re-imagined, maintaining the dreamy vibes of the original but telling its own story.
Big Sandz’s take on “Fellow Feeling” is beautifully arranged. Porter’s violins open the track, followed by drums and a mellow bass line. It doesn’t rush to the drop, but when it arrives it transitions fluidly into intricate, melodic wobbles and ever-evolving synths. This remix never repetitive and often graceful.
