Ever wondered what deadmau5’s first few tracks sounded like? Well wonder no more, as a few years ago one of his old demos resurfaced online to be shared and listened to over and over again. Deadmau5’s oldest available demo to date is titled “Can’t Remember the Name” and takes influence from the then-popular Happy Hardcore genre. Now keep in mind, this track was made back in 1995 when Joel Zimmerman was only 14 years old, so don’t be overly critical. Enjoy it for what it is.
In case you didn’t know: Porter Robinson and Madeon collaborated on a Happy Hardcore track back in the days when they were known as Ekowraith (Porter Robinson) and Wayne Mont (Madeon). You can listen to it here: Porter Robinson and Madeon collaboration
