Droptek has returned to Monstercat after a four month hiatus with the first electro track in a year. It’s with open ears I welcome him back.
The song “Boundaries” is one I loved from the second I heard it. There was something about the intro that instantly made me curious as to what the rest of the track could sound like. Each new section of the song was a delightful surprise, from seamless fusion of complextro melodies and in your face electro house drops to calming chords. The track as a whole is a brilliantly cohesive experience. If this is the direction for Droptek’s future music, then I would definitely consider him an artist to watch.
