Trap music. Some love it and some really love it. I guess some people don’t, but that’s their loss. Part of what they are losing out on are two freebies from Take/Five who released a double single through High Intensity Records. Minimal trap done to a tee; that’s what you have with “Midnight” and “Loco,” both of which share simplicity and a reverence for melody. I mean with “Midnight” you can’t get much better than having a melody that is ever changing, yet every note, including the new ones, feel familiar to you. That is until you have them all memorized because you have played it so many times. “Loco,” despite it’s name, is even more chill than the previous single. This one is geared more towards listening, I’d say; although you can dance to it, I imagine one sitting back and vibing out to this.
