Let’s be honest, this beat and these vocals probably should have sat where they did without collaboration.
If Diplo is going to continue to venture into rnb and hip/hop at this magnitude I expect more consistency than this half-hearted attempt. The beat itself is decent, the production is solid, but handing it to Chris Brown just for the paycheck is extremely disappointing.
This is anything but a quality track and feels more likely to lose Diplo his long-time fans than gain any from Brown’s following.
That being said 1:17 to 1:40 is pretty solid.
