No matter how bored I get with the generic route many new releases venture on these days, I can always count on Gabriel & Dresden to fulfill my fix for good music. These guys have stuck to their roots from day one and are always looking for more opportunities to expand their already amazing sound. Their latest, “New Ground” is both soothing and spectacular as the guys give you a dose of of something you have probably never heard before. It pays homage to the earlier sounds of electronic music, blending a retro-sih sounding synth along a driving, growling bass.
