With over 70k plays in just over a week, Buku and Tropkillaz‘s recent collaboration entitled “Follow the Beat” is an experimental dance tune that falls some where between the lines of twerk, future bass and Griz-esque jazz fusion. This is a big tune that challenges our perceptions of 100bpm hip-hop rooted dance tunes and no one could have done it better than these two. Tropkillaz brings in some nicely grooved percussion to start the track which is then complimented by one of Buku‘s signature synths and both meld together for a summertime classic that makes it impossible to not to give your booty a little wiggle.
