The Two Friends have become well known for their eloquent Big Bootie mixes, in which they generally mix over 60 instrumentals and acapellas in an hour long set. But, this one is particularly exceptional.
Eli & Matt have taken a slightly different approach in the sixth edition; using a huge variety of acapellas over a great collection of instrumentals, including a range of stellar remix instrumentals (which is both new and exciting), they recreate a ton of well-know tracks to create an excellent sing-along/dance set that brings feels from a long list of genres and time periods.
My favorite mash-up of the entire 60 minutes is their original instrumental from Sedated mashed with Chromeo‘s Jealous (I Ain’t With It). The result is a uniquely emotional twist on the otherwise playful lyrics that turns out to be quite enthralling.
