Only way to make your day better is to think of it as Trap Tuesday. Thanks to these five tunes, my day has turned out for the better and they will surely do the same for you. All of these also happen to be free downloads too, so you have that going for you. Different styles within the trap realm are showcased allowing you to get a nearly full experience of the genre. Let’s start off with my favorite and see where we go from there.
Whenever Anna Yvette sings on a track (or produces it), you better click play. Same thing goes if Skrux produces something. For “Infinite” we have both and it is one of the most beautiful things you are going to hear. Love trap just added another anthem to the list. Except this one is bolded and has an asterisk next to it, because, well… It’s just that dope. 
Cat Trvp turns out some interesting work. “Primal” is his latest single that sounds anything but antique. His fresh sound features gripping basses along with spacey synths to ensnare the listener and get them moving to the music. His crafty percussive rhythms, especially after the second drop with the background hits, are on point and incredible. Despite this having the least amount of plays, it’s just as worthy as the rest of the lot.
“Need Weed” is King Peanuts‘ original production for all the smokers out there. It’s pretty chill, but it’s got that ghetto groove that many trap songs contain. Some unique instrumentation livens up the composition, with not only the synthetic sounds being intriguing, but also the acoustic ones, most notably in the introduction. Another quality trap tune from this guy and there are sure to be more.
DIEHIGH Records brings some of the sickest music you are going to find. When they backed “Too Curious” by LOLO BX and Mayo, I knew it was going to be good. It is. It’s more than good, though. The track features rap verses, which is something that is increasingly happening in the EDM world. This is one of those tracks that is going to inspire people to do more of that bridge building.
HighLight has some great cuts out there of popular dance records. This time he took to remixing DVBB’s “We Were Young” for a huge festival banger. And that second drop, sheesh. You better prepare for the first, then re-prepare for the second because you are not ready, even with this warning. It’s a big boy track right here.
