Chicago-based duo, X5IGHT and Your EDM Records proudly present…5:00 Shadow.
Six months in the making, Brandon and Jerry of X5IGHT combined their musical influences to create a rather diverse and experimental EP. “5:00 Shadow” presents a distinct minimal vibe, while still maintaining X5IGHT’s signature progressive sound. The EP will take listeners on an epic journey filled with suspense, euphoric melodies, and contrasting, dark overtones. Additionally, “5:00 Shadow” marks X5IGHT’s debut release on a label.
The first song off of the EP, “The Luckiest Man” was inspired by legend, Lou Gehrig‘s famous farewell speech before retiring from baseball. “The Luckiest Man” was released for free download on Friday. The remaining two tracks however, “Mayday” and “Hawkeye“, have just been released for purchase on iTunes and Beatport.
