After ditching his alias Shreddie Mercury, Jonathan Kane has continued to develop his signature crunchy sound since his contest-winning remix of Zedd’s Spectrum, and later his official remix of Clarity. This time, he’s released a new electro-house original that goes in a slightly different direction; Inhert can best be described as a combination of standard electro house infused with dark, Porter Robinson-style ambient textures in the breaks. The drop gets you going with a frantic bass riff, followed by a calm introduction of the melody that leads into a Language-esque breakdown.
