Miami’s LooKas has made a name for himself with some of the rowdiest festival trap remixes we’ve ever heard, including: War‘s “Low Rider,” Punjabi MC‘s “Beware of the Boys,” and DVBBS X Borgeous‘ “Tsunami.” With a recent location change to LA, LooKas pulled a summertime switch up and dropped an all original heater that is crazier than playing a game of Edward-4Loko-Hands while attempting to exchange kandi at your favorite festival.
“LOKO” takes the anthem-sized build approach and kicks out some massive 808s for a lethal track that will be a mainstay in many-a-dj set. LooKas brings diversity to the arrangement by dropping a broken sub heavy house beat sans the big distorted kick you expect from hardstyle on the second drop and then comes back around with another onslaught of trapped out bass for the third. This one sets the bar pretty high for festival trap moving forward, so make sure to grab “LOKO” for free below.
