If there was anybody to make a song called “This Is What The Bounce Is,” Will Sparks would have to be the guy. He did just that; his new release through Ultra dropped on Friday after having been teased a couple weeks prior. In defining the genre, Will takes the approach at crafting the future sound, instead of simply rehashing what has already been made. His fresh original is still bouncy, still fun and still the sweet Melbourne sound we love to hear. I’m glad to hear things getting more complex; even though this isn’t anything like complextro and it’s still minimal, the involvement of numerous sounds keeps things lively in a genre that is looking at a takeover. Will is at the front of it all too, so expect more from the young talent.
