One can get DJ lessons from many places around the States, such as Dubspot in New York or Music Industry Workshop in Chicago. However, getting lessons from one of the best producers in the industry is something unique. The following video pictures Ron Howard, a TV and film star credited for directing the Da Vinci Code and Apollo 13, with Sonny Moore, the man behind Skrillex. 
Even with one of the best mentors in the industry, Ron Howard is having a hard time mixing those tunes. Skrillex shows him how to put on the headphones, in a setup consisting of two CDJ 2000s and a DJM 900 mixer (it could be the nexus line, but it is hard to distinguish it in the video).
This clip is from Howard’s Made In America documentary, a film based on Jay-Z‘s festival. The rap legend has many interesting thoughts about EDM, and especially the following:
“EDM music, people are dismissing as a fad, sort of like they did hip-hop. I think it’s gonna be a bit more sticky. I think it’s the music of the next generation… They’ll buy other music, but it’s like, OK, this music is ours.” – Jay-Z
