The popular dance move known as “shuffling” that you often see fans participate in at events and festivals is now the primary focus of a new documentary. Director Kez Glozier and filmmaker Sam Hiscox examine the origins of shuffling that originate from The Charleston, a 1920s jazz dance, as well as how it has developed into what we know it as today. Arranged by British documentary magazine The New British, the 25 minute documentary Release will premiere on August 1 at the London club Basement as part of an “authentic house night.”
