Some serious vibes are coming from a corner of the internet occupied by Maison Cartel. Their latest original track, ‘Telegraph’, is a true masterpiece for the Mexican duo and a shining example of originality in a scene very much contaminated by over-sampling. I say this because Maison Cartel made this track using no presets, no samples, no bullshit. What you hear is 100% Maison Cartel and that’s not something a lot of artists can say about their songs. On top of the sheer coolness of that fact, the song also kicks some serious ass. With the in-your-face style of RL Grime, and the swinging synths of Jesus, ‘Telegraph’ is one for the record books.
