When the 2014 Verge Campus Spring Tour came through Boston, Krewella stopped by the Karmaloop headquarters to stock up on some sick gear; for those of you who don’t know, Karmaloop is the world’s largest online streetwear retailer and is one of Verge Campus’ main sponsors.
While they were there, Jahan and Yasmine sat down with the CEO of Karmaloop, Greg Selkoe, for a brief but incredibly entertaining interview. With topics ranging from the experiments they used to do with glowstick jizz (aka that stuff inside glowsticks) when they were kids, Jahan’s ability to conjure demons, a potential collab with Mr. Bean, and what it really means to “Get Wet,” this is easily the Krew’s funniest interview to date!
My favorite part of the interview comes at the 4 minute mark when Selkoe asks the girls what they’d like to say to their fans all over the world. I won’t ruin the surprise, but Yasmine’s reaction when she realizes what she said is absolutely priceless! It’s moments like these that made me fall in love with these incredibly genuine and down-to-earth kids from Chicago in the first place; what you see is exactly what you get with them and it’s such a beautiful thing!
