Go Deeper Than Ever Before With Toolroom’s Ibiza Underground 2014

Its a new month and that means another album from the mighty Toolroom Records. This time around, it’s the highly anticipated Ibiza Underground 2014 compilation that has blown away all expectations. This album has has enjoyed enormous success over the past few years, highlighting the best artists and sounds from the underground movement in dance music mecca, Ibiza. Ibiza Underground 2014 is no exception to the brilliance promised from Toolroom Records, taking you on a mysterious and magical journey among the deepest tracks fueling Ibiza’s fascinating club life.

House legend Carl Cox kicks off the album with his brilliant collaboration with Nicole Moudaber, “See You Next Tuesday“, that will have you in trance the moment it begins. Hot Since 82 follows with an electrifying original, “Don’t Touch The Alarm“, powered by a fiery tribal beat alongside saxophones, bass, and really eerie yet intoxicating sample. A few other tracks that stuck out to me was Harry Romero‘s smash, “Gimme The Funk” that’s just about as ratchet as Miley on a wrecking ball. Also, George Fitzgerald‘s remix to Laszlo Dancehall‘s “Plimpton” offsets the harder, tech house side with a lighter, more melodic mix to ease your mind. As you know, this album wouldn’t be complete without an appearance from another Toolroom favourite, Mihalis Safras. His work on “Defect” is simply fascinating.

I’ve brought out just a few gems of what is an absolutely incredible album from Toolroom Records; it’s a must-have in your musical library. This tasty 44-track compilation features two exclusive DJ mixes as well that are the cherry on top to Ibiza Underground 2014.
