First off, let me just say how fucking euphoric KDrew’s vocals are. That chorus makes me want to scream it out at the top of my lungs from the top of a mountain. Now that that’s out of the way, let me say how absolutely perfect Dr. Ozi’s remix is.
For one, the sound design is exquisite. The underlying melody below the massive bass synth is a perfect nod to the original mix, and the chopped up vocals give me more of KDrew’s luscious voice. The whole bassline is a bouncy, well-mastered synth ride that pounds along and I defy everyone to not keep their arms moving. More than that, the whole dubstep arrangement is a fantastic throwback to older styles that I am beyond happy to see making a resurgence.
