The Danish LA producer MORTEN has already released two singles for free from his EP, but now Your EDM is premiering the third one, “Wreck.” Living on the trancey side of progressive house, “Wreck” is a Euro gem fit for underground clubs everywhere. Even the main-stages of festivals aren’t immune to this; the dark energy is exhilarating and the big room influence keeps things simple, yet lively. Aside from the riveting bass-line, the piano in the intro and bridge is something that sticks out to me. The adrenaline junkie keeps things extreme with his production game and “Wreck” is a good example which joins other great pieces of evidence that form the producer’s self-titled EP. With the collection of tracks he has, it’s a mega release you are going to want to get your hands on. “Wreck” plays just one role; however, it contributes largely to the appeal of the full project.
