As far as an underdog story goes, you would be hard pressed to find a better example in Solstis and Oddeeo. Both acts are relative new comers to the EDM genre, but just as with every good tale of the underdog this one ends in victory. Robot Daydream, their latest collaborative effort is a slower, melodic tune in the vein of Porter Robinson, proves these two up and coming acts have solid potential. 
Utilizing the Vocaloid VST, featured in Porter Robinson’s Sad Machine, Solstis and Oddeeo have delivered their own vision in the “producer as vocalist” category. The neat aspect about this track is that the producers used a VST to bypass the traditional use of a vocalist to create a track that is 100% their own vision. Interestingly enough, the use of a “digital singer” also translates into self-aware computer lyrics.
