Ouros is a name you probably haven’t heard before. If you were to venture to the act’s Soundcloud page, you’d find one thing: a remix of “I Got U” originally by Duke Dumont and Jax Jones. It will attract you because it’s free, but also because it’s a freakin’ amazing song. Atmospheric, chill and full of raw emotion, Ouros really knocked it out of the park on this one. So much so that I had to use the cliche, because there’s no getting around it. The mixdown was executed incredibly well, with lush tones filling the spectrum fully. If you were to break it down, you’d find numerous clean cut samples of a wide variety that range from acoustic instruments to synthesized ones to vocal contributions that come from the original.
