One of the rising stars from the Anjunabeats realm has a new tune out on Spinnin Records. Previously, his track “Elysium” was released on Spinnin at the start of the year. For his sophomore release on this label, the young producer known as Audien enlists the vocal power of the EDM go-to singer Matthew Koma for an interesting result.
Much like his massive remix to Bastille‘s “Pompeii” and his hit single “Leaving You” with Michael S., “Serotonin” is another example where the production and the vocals blend together perfectly. Matthew Koma sets the stage for this song with his iconic singing prowess and romantic lyrics. Meanwhile, the track surrounds itself with the trouse sounds Audien is renowned for. However, hidden in the middle of this new audio gem is a bubbly, clubby drop that creates a bouncy feel foreign to most Audien fans. In the end, this song takes diverse turns while keeping in line with the style Audien has neatly set for himself.
It’s available for Beatport with a preview for streaming purposes.
