As Porter Robinson gears up for his tour and the release of his debut album Worlds, we get a first look at the fresh aesthetics behind his new vision. The video for ‘Lionhearted’ follows Porter and his gang of kawaii Japanese girls on a mission to light up the town. Armed with firearms, sledgehammers, crowbars and various other assorted weaponry, the group proceed to give a lightshow of epic proportions. There’s also a little twist at the end, but I won’t spoil it for you.
This is also the first time we’re able to hear ‘Lionhearted’ in all its 1080p glory (which to be honest is still just a 192 kbps bit rate, for you purists out there). Regardless, I think it still sounds better than it did when it went live on SoundCloud. Worlds comes out August 12th.
