According to Wavefront’s Facebook page earlier today, the festival will officially not be going forward this year. After complaints from residents and even a few attempts to change the location, it was decided that it would be better to postpone the festival until 2015 in hopes of more cordial negotiations.
As Wavefront said in their notice, there are still plenty of other festivals to enjoy in Chicago this summer, including Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, and Riot Fest.
