German duo Neonlight have a new EP coming out June 16th titled Sidus and Your EDM is here to give you a first exclusive look at their track ‘Heavy Bettie.’
For sure it’s one of the finer tracks on the album and just a beast right out of the gate. If you like jump up then this is definitely for you. The atmospheric build up is quickly cut off by pounding kicks and a savage bassline. Tracking in at nearly six minutes, ‘Heavy Bettie’ gives you plenty of time to examine every little detail, including the heart-stopping breakdown in the midsection and the discordant bridge just after. The fourth and final drop goes back into the style of the first for a full circle feeling.
Neonlight are likely to be making huge waves in the drum & bass scene this year, so be on the lookout.
