Recently, the internet has been bombarded by team Axwell /\ Ingrosso as they execute their in depth marketing plan. Their strategy involved numerous facets, including their Departures show, an old freebie, as well as the announcement of their upcoming album and tour. That’s not all, either. A silent song premiere – the first ever – with lyrics posted throughout New York city is well underway, along with 5,000 packages to fans that have been sent out containing letters, sheet music and lottery cards. Lottery cards are being used so fans can scratch their way to winning a flight as the grand prize. Limited edition posters and shirts will also be given out to only a few people. Axwell /\ Ingrosso will also be playing at The Governor’s Ball this weekend. Aside from this duo, you can catch Outkast, Vampire Weekend and The Strokes.
