Free downloads make me smile and so does seeing electronic music producers being featured with big artists. Drake and James Blake have made a partnership before with “Come Thru” and now they meet again in “0-100/The Catch Up” that makes use of James iconic vocal work. Although he did not produce the song – you can thank Boi-1da, 40 and Nineteen85 for that – his subtle contribution could foreshadow more work to come in the future between these two. Even if not, it’s cool to see a mainstream artist pay homage to somebody that is a part of our scene. That’s all coming from somebody who isn’t necessarily a fan of Drake either.
