Hotel Garuda (a duo comprised of Manila Killa and Candle Weather) and Sweekuh (an up-and-comer from Philadelphia with a groove-driven sound) created this stellar remix almost on a whim; according to Sweekuh, “This track started with some saxophone sounds and an acapella mysteriously found on the internet.” From there, the trio reworked the vocal and drum patterns to give the track a bouncy, deep house vibe while retaining the funky goodness of the original.
