Ready for the thirteenth Conspectus Chapter? Because it’s here and it’s starting off with a explosion thanks to Bassanova. His smooth electro production, “Fox,” is another example of this Netherland resident’s prestige in the world of house music. He’s had official remixes and releases through major labels with this single receiving unofficial support from Tujamo, Laidback Luke, Kid Massive, La Fuente.
Sticking with electro, but moving to a more traditional sound comes Laurent Iacomucci‘s remix of “Pjanoo” that will rock your world. Luxembourg’s producer delivered something really special with this cut that is nothing but a solid dance record. You’d be hard pressed not to start moving your body along to this juicy beat. Although it’s a bootleg, I’m hoping Soundcloud passes on taking it down because it’s too dope!
Moombah hasn’t been represented in the chapters for a while so I am ecstatic to bring to you Ronaldo Reagan‘s original single “Bumba Ras Clot.” It strides the line between moombahton and moombahcore; given it’s bass tendencies you certainly wouldn’t be shamed for calling it the latter, but the heavy dembow and latin vibes have this leaning on the former as well. We’re not hear to debate genres, but we are here to give you good music and that’s exactly what you are getting!
Ready for something bouncy and fun? No, not Melbourne, but equally as enjoyable. Topi, a producer from Finland, remixed one of Skrillex’s tracks from Recess, “Fuck That.” This edition shares a similar vibe to the original, but this remix was juiced up with vigor to deliver a club-ready jam. It is not at all far-fetched to imagine big name DJ’s (taking out big room people from the equation) playing this out live. If somehow this gets in hands of Skrill himself, don’t doubt he’d have it play in front of a crowd.
Closing out things with trap is always a good idea. Especially if the provider is Fiasko Daniels with his original, “Night Shade.” It does have a dark vibe, which attracted me to it, along with some spacey qualities that makes this just my kind of thing. Although the sounds are relatively simple, they are crafted and mixed down perfectly. I thought this was an absolutely incredible song as I listened but once I got to the second drop things got taken next level with one simple maneuver. This is too fresh. Best for last? Just maybe.
