Apashe – ‘Golden Empire’ EP

Golden Empire Art

Kannibalen Records are bringing you a hugely anticipated two track EP by Belgian producer Apashe. More of an exploration of sound rather than tunes catered for radio play, ‘Golden Empire’ aims to test your perception of bass music. It’s due for release 3rd June and is already causing quite a storm within the scene.

The title track is the true masterpiece of the release and will please more or less every taste in bass music out there. It’s a six-minute marathon of bass, FX and more authentic sounds – even featuring a chilling choir procession. It’s very rare for a producer to be able to mix both an experimental style with real rhythm like Apashe achieves on ‘Golden Empire’.

The flip sees Apashe showing his diversity and eagerness to experiment in styles. Once again hugely cinematic FX bring you into the beat with more of an aggressive vocal designed to build the hype. Should turn a few more heads and get the dance-floor moving.
