The past couple of years has seen producer and DJ brothers the Lunde Bros continue to grow their brand of unique electro bass, and gather great support from a whole host of the scene’s biggest names. Christopher and Niklas Lunde are originally from Sweden, and they first came to the attention of fellow Scandinavian John Dahlbäck, who recruited them to release on his Mutants label. Their DJ career really hit off in 2012 when they played a selection of high profile clubs including Ministry of Sound. Over the past couple of years, demand for both their original work and remixes has increased, and the pair have worked with Big Beat, Toolroom, EMI and of course Mutants Records to name a few. Earlier this year saw the Bros left in charge of releasing their own compilation for Dahlbäck’s label, ‘Mutants Presents.’ Full of brand new material, it featured ‘Jump Up’ – which they have just released as a single with a David Vrong remix. It’s catchy, hugely rhythmical and with a surging undercurrent of bass that has become to be their signature sound. They are able to both capture the essence of Electro and House within their production, and each track they put out is set for the dance floor.
The Lunde Bros have kindly put together this exclusive minimix for us to celebrate their latest single.
