Deadmau5 Teases “Seeya (ft. Colleen D’Agostino)” From Upcoming Album

Deadmau5 While 1 Less Than 2Last Thursday, deadmau5 took to BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe for an interview and a chance to showcase another track from his much-awaited album While (1<2).  While the full interview is not yet available, a small portion is previewed before and after the song’s debut.  The full radio broadcast is only available for the next 4 days, or you can check out the clipped version below.

Judging from the tracklist, “Seeya” appears to be the final song on the second part of the album.  Described by deadmau5 as a “funky upbeat thing,” this tune is an interesting change of pace for the producer that may speak to the diversity of his double album.  Featuring electrified guitar twangs, a glitchy bass line, and the smooth vocal support of Colleen D’Agostino, “Seeya” is bound to bounce around your head for some time to come.

While (1<2) will be released digitally on June 17, 2014.  Those who pre-order the album will be treated to an instant copy of “Avaritia,” and the ability to download “Seeya” this Tuesday, May 27.
