LA-based newcomer, NGHTMRE, is making a name for himself fast. If his latest electro house track “Elm St.” isn’t enough to put him on your radar, then I’m not really sure what will. Though originality currently seems to be lacking in the house department of EDM, NGHTMRE enters the scene only to unleash full-fledge creativity packed into one song. The west-coast producer takes the theme song from famous horror flick, ‘Friday the 13th,’ and transforms it into a dark, energized electro-house hit equipped with a drop that is unforgettable. All eeriness is eliminated in this soon-to-be club anthem, as it includes a hint of deep house and a steady beat that’s almost impossible to not want to get crazy to.
