Toolroom Records Presents: ‘US House Legends’ – A Tribute Close to Their Hearts

legends

As most of us say, music is what feelings sound like. Toolroom Records brings back the feeling’s of unity, inspiration, and soul, with each classic house music track. With ‘US House Legends’, you will relive the original sounds that were played at some of the top clubs like Warehouse Chicago and Paradise Garage New York, from the pioneer’s themselves like Frankie Knuckles, Victor Simonelli, Blaze, Celvin Fisher, and many more. This compilation album provides 26 classics and a continuous DJ mix, which each one has been sampled with fresh remixes; including Iban Reus remix of Todd Terry’s “Jumpin”, to Shadow Child’s vocal mix of “A DJ Deep Inside” by Dino Lenny vs Hardrive, Dusky’s mix of “Do You Want Me Baby” by Cloud 9, four time Grammy Award-nominee Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley’s, “Jack Your Body”, and so much more.

‘US House Legends’, is an album filled with legendary producers who have crafted music that will always remain timeless. This album contains some of my favorites, which I was so excited to listen to, from Jay Lumens remix of Kevin Saunderson’s,“The Sound” and Matt Smallwood’s remix of Inner City’s “Good Life.” There were tracks that I have never heard before but I was instantly captivated from the eclectic and organic beats. There is My Digital Enemy’s remix of “Believe In Love” by House Of Virus & Marshall Jefferson feat. Soliaris. This track is a synergy of upbeat synth rhythms, smooth and spunky bass lines, and vocals that remember you to believe in love, which definitely brings the unity and soul to this track. Another great hit off of this album is Matteo DiMarr’s Big Drum Remix of “Samba” by Todd Terry & House of Gypsies. This track will get you up off of your feet and samba to the tribal rhythmic beats and vocals that bring in a little bit of edge to this track.
