It’s always nice to see an artist you have been supporting get the exposure they deserve. With over one thousand hearts on Hypem and 75,000 plays on Soundcloud, Flaxo‘s remix of “Ms. Jackson” by Outkast has made its rounds to the people of the internet. Perhaps his most upbeat song, the summer vibes come early to save me from the despair that finals brings along. Somehow when I play this, everything is alright. Once you have a listen, you will experience a similar feeling, because everything from the electric guitar to the synth work and vocal gating is fire. I’m hoping Flaxo comes out with more feel good stuff like this, and that is coming from somebody who can never get enough of the dark music. You gotta get some sunshine sometimes.
