Upcoming Projects: Oh man, so many! I’m working on about 4 original songs right now, 2 of which will be with vocalists. I’ve also got some HUGE collabs I’m working on with Andrei Stephen, Savo and Fratello, all separately. I’m confident there’s a major label release in there somewhere. Victor Niglio has been giving me great feedback and guiding me towards that level so to speak. I’ve also got about 2 more remixes I’m working on, and I’ve begun to tap back to my old mashup dj roots and I started a few mashups. I’m a firm believer that the DJ AM style I grew up on will make its way into EDM. I’m really excited to move to LA for the summer and attend the new Dubspot school for sound design. I’m going to be living with two really dope up and coming producers, Sean Martin and Savo. Big things coming from both of them in the future. Overall, I’m just really excited about where everything in my life is at.

My Thoughts: This is a great mix full of a variety of unreleased originals, creatively executed mash-ups, remixes and a general depiction of what an Amenzo live set would consist of. The prevalence of interwoven melodies and a variety of genres results in a beautiful flow that many DJ’s lack. One other thing to take notice of in this mix is every track that Andrei Stephen is apart of, for this guy is the real deal.
Amenzo‘s details on the mix: I previously mentioned some big collabs with Andrei Stephen, and there’s 2 of our tracks (an ID track and another named Infamous) in this mix. I’ve also got one of my new original tracks in here, my re-make of Taylor Dayne’s “Tell It To My Heart.” It’s nowhere near finished, though. Overall, this mix was a lot of fun to put together because I was able to mix a lot of songs that I’ve loved over the past year or so, and even included a few throwbacks. Speaking of throwbacks and mashups, I’ve got a few in here. I’m really stoked to bring that DJ AM style into my sets and into EDM as a whole, although I’ve seen MAKJ doing it already. People really love that kind of stuff. Moments where they an all lock hands together and sing the chorus of a Bon Jovi song in unison. It’s an amazing thing to witness. I’m excited to see it at a festival.
