Some songs are engineered and made to fit the status quo. Then there are those that establish their own status quo. For those wanting to experience first-hand creativity in the music scene, meet Trippy Turtle. As mysterious as his (or their) identity, Trippy has been taking R&B and rap songs to new heights with his remixes and sampling of Big Sean, August Alsina, Robin Thicke, Drake, and Chris Brown to name a few.
Now Trippy Turtle takes a trippy approach to “Na Na” by Trey Songz. This remake takes the original and amplifies its baby-making powers to the stars. It makes use of the squeaky-chair sample fans of Trippy and Cashmere Cat have come to love from these fresh reworks of R&B classics. The original was a slow-paced passion track and has been brought up to speed with a Jersey club transformation; rocking the bedrooms of the summer of 2014.
Hopefully, this song (and many other Trippy Turtle tracks) will see official releases for the world. Until then enjoy the preview and leave your comments and ratings.
