Tucker Kreway, a 15-year-old from Calgary, Canada, is making major waves. He was last featured on Jantsen & Dirt Monkey’s Freak That Shit/No Other Sound Remixes where he delivered a massive drum & bass remix of ‘No Other Sound.’
Now he’s back and on the Dirty Duck Audio label with his new 200K EP. The title track is massive in its own right, but the other of the two-track EP, ‘Alone,’ works some beautiful magic. Honestly, the sound isn’t too original. It’s a lot of the same synths and massive presets that have gone around and back. But the sound design on this is what really drew me in. Tucker Kreway works those stabs and octaves hard and it shows. Keep in mind this kid is only fifteen! If Martin Garrix had only tried to create something original… but I digress.
