Everyone remembers the Aokify America Tour that Steve Aoki, Waka Flocka Flame, and Borgore embarked on late last year throughout the United States. They were even joined by Pharrell Williams on a few nights of spectacular proportions. That tour generated the wildest nights for every city and a new song called “Wild Out” between the self-proclaimed man who ruined dubstep and the Flockaveli. I had a gut feeling that Mr. Aoki and Mr. Flame were going to collaborate since both artist respect what the other does and enjoy performing together.
The time has come to see the fruits of labor both Steve Aoki and Waka Flocka Flame put out on a new song. Titled “Rage The Night Away”, the latest from these two showmen will appear on Steve’s forthcoming album Neon Future. It starts off with Waka Flocka dropping lyrics to the initial rap/trap stylized sound of the song. But after Waka says, “Let your money stack!”, Steve delivers a heavy big-room drop Aoki-style. With stupendous noise and fierce rhymes, these two musicians create the song that will describe how crowds will spend their evenings when they listen to this.
Unfortunately, there is no news when this song will be released nor when the album Neon Future will see the light of retail. Until then, SoundCloud can assist you to stream a preview of what’s to come soon. Do you think this song flops or will it help you “rage the night away”?
